Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a flow or heat quantity meter having a heating resistor, fed with current pulses, arranged in the measuring path of the medium, and having at least one heat sensor which is arranged in the flow direction of the medium and is loaded by the heat spheres emitted by the heating element. According to the invention, the heat sensor is now designed as a temperature sensor, which can also serve to correct thermal measurement errors or to measure a temperature on a heat exchanger during the carrying out of a heat quantity measurement. For this purpose, the heat sensor is periodically switched over to different measurement channels of the assigned measurement electronics.
