Apparatus for the feed of blank parts

The invention relates to an apparatus for the feed of blank parts consisting especially of flexible materials for the clothing industry. The apparatus of the invention has the object of ensuring an automatic feed of blank parts to the sewing machine at a minimum technical outlay, an automatic positioning of the fed parts taking place preferably during the feed movement. The apparatus consists of a crank mechanism which is arranged on the sewing-machine table so as to be vertically movable and rotatable and the cranks and coupling member of which are provided with actuators, on which friction grippers as well as a gripping element and a closing device for a drag clamp are arranged. This apparatus makes it possible to grasp presented blanks and bring them into the feed position necessary for automatic sewing. This apparatus makes is possible to reduce standstill times of automated sewing systems and increase their productivity.
