Zusammenfassung:	The vapour separator and surge drum contains a collector 1 which is connected to an inlet collector and an outlet collector between which separating elements 4 which have drainage grooves 5 are arranged in stages (floors). Present in the collector 1 are main intermediate walls 6 which form main ducts 7 for the liquid drainage. Each main duct 7 is connected to the associated drain groove 5 via apertures 8. Provided in the collector 1 are additional intermediate walls 9 of which each forms an additional duct 10 with the associated main intermediate wall 6. The additional intermediate walls 9 are arranged over the length of the collector 1 at a distance from the corresponding drain groove 5.
