Zusammenfassung: | Rigid polyurethane and/or polyisocyanurate foams are prepared from polyisocyanates containing at least two functional groups, compounds containing at least two hydrogen atoms which are reactive towards isocyanates and whose equivalent weight is from about 50 to 900 per reactive hydrogen atom, catalysts, blowing agents and foam stabilisers which contain no silicon atoms, and optionally conventional additives, such as flame-proofing agents and chain extenders, where the foam stabilisers used are copolymers of vinyl monomers and allyl or methallyl polyoxyalkylene ethers in a molar ratio between the monomers of from 1:1 to 10:1.
The foams produced using these stabilisers have an improved fire behaviour, good surface properties and an excellent thermal insulation effect. The stabilisers increase the solubility of halocarbon blowing gases in the foaming batch. |
