Tyre pressure switch for motor vehicles

A tyre pressure switch for motor vehicles is proposed with which monitoring of the tyre pressure independently of the speed of the vehicle is to be made possible even in the high speed range in that the diaphragm movement brought about at the diaphragm (17) of the reference pressure chamber (16) of the tyre pressure switch as a result of centrifugal forces (Fz) is to be compensated. For this purpose, the floor (22) of the reference pressure chamber (16) is provided with a contact pin (18) which is inserted therein and has a mass which is of such a size that it arches in the central area (22a) to the same degree and in the same direction as the diaphragm (17) as a result of the centrifugal forces (Fz1) acting on it (Figure 2).
