Device for stacking laminates, and a method which can be carried out with said device in order to produce stators or rotors of electrical machines

The device for stacking laminates is intended especially for stacking stator and rotor laminates. It consists of a magazine (10) which has vertically arranged stack holders (12, 14) for different laminate sections. In the operating position, a fitting through-chute (68) of a compartment head is connected at the bottom to a stack holder (12, 14). A plurality of compartment heads are connected to different through-chutes to form a unit (22) in order to be able to change the compartment heads very quickly during the transition from a specific laminate section to a different one. A plurality of different stack holders (26) are also provided in a corresponding manner on a switchable support (24), can be moved selectively by indexing movements into the operating position aligned with the through-chute (68) of a compartment head, and can be moved from there to a measurement and transfer station (28).
