Zusammenfassung:	The object of the invention is to transfer bottles from one bottle table of a treatment machine to another table where the bottles are divided up differently, in a forcibly controlled manner over the shortest distance. The object is achieved according to the invention in that the conveying section is composed of two flat-top chains, the start of the second flat-top chain is arranged between the inlet and outlet stars of the filling machine and the flat-top chain of this conveying section has the same speed as the bottle supports of the bottle table of the sealing machine arranged downstream, the inlet star of the sealing machine having elongated gripper gaps. The two flat-top chains are arranged via chain wheels so as to be replaceable in accordance with the desired speed corresponding to the division of the bottle tables. The invention is used for filling and sealing bottles and relates to a filling and sealing machine having in each case a rotating bottle table with bottle supports, the bottle support spacing on the two bottle tables being different.
