Zusammenfassung: | A hot-galvanising process is described, in particular for producing zinc layer thicknesses of between 10 and 40 mu m by means of hot galvanising on individual steel components, a lead bath being used which is saturated with zinc at the galvanising temperature, and an only very thin zinc layer being maintained on the surface of the lead baths depending on the desired layer thickness on the steel, or the molten lead being completely free of molten zinc at the point where the piece to be galvanised is immersed. In this case, an addition of tin in various quantities to the molten lead-zinc is particularly advantageous, as a result of which the zinc solubility and wettability are considerably improved, so that not even a flux cover is required during the galvanisation. |
