Skip hoisting system

This skip hoisting system is intended in particular for hoisting minerals from the level of the pit eye of a mine to its pit mouth. When loading and unloading hoppers of the skip hoisting system, crushing of the minerals should be avoided, to prevent reduction in value and the nuisance of dust being raised. The skip hoisting system has six hoppers of identical construction and effect, of which two loading hoppers are built into a chamber at the pit eye, two skip hoppers in a support structure of skips, and two unloading hoppers at the pit mouth. The individual hoppers each consist of an upper segment, in which a movable lower segment is arranged in a liftable manner, having a movable rotatable bottom.
