Ink-ribbon cartridge with reloadable ink-ribbon spools

Ink-ribbon cartridges for typewriters or office machines of similar type are subject to different design requirements, the intention being, above all, for them to be easily exchangeable by means of one-handed operation. Since the transporting elements, for example for the carbon ribbon, in cartridges of this type are also mounted in the housing, these cartridges are very expensive. In order to avoid this, ink-ribbon cartridges with exchangeable ink-ribbon spools have been disclosed. The invention is now based on the object of providing an ink-ribbon cartridge with reloadable ink-ribbon spools, which guarantees a simple and reliable exchange of the ink-ribbon spools and permits simple assembly of the cartridge housing (2) with the lid (3). This object is achieved in that the housing (2) and the lid (3) have mutually engageable components of hinges which are moulded on integrally and can be engaged with one another both from the horizontal position of the lid (3) on the housing opening (118) and in the open position of the lid (3) above or at the opening (118). As a result, simple joining-together of the lid (3) and the housing (2) is made possible both by hand and by an automatic joining machine.
