The cable terminal (2) is intended to connect to a current-supply cable a foil strip electrode of a flexible heating panel which presents insulating covering sheets on its two main faces. The cable terminal (2) comprises, in one piece a socket (20) for setting the cable, and a slab (21) provided with six claws (22) obtained by puncturing, along two equal sides (23,24) of an isosceles triangle with a vertex angle close to 30 DEG and bending at right angles along the third side (25) of the triangle. For contact with the electrode, the slab (21) is pressed, claws (22) first, on to the covering sheet of the upper face of the panel opposite the electrode, in such a way that the claws perforate the superimposed layers of the panel, and traverse the electrode until the slab (21) rests on the panel. The claws (22) are folded back by bending parallel to the bend (25) under the panel, in a direction opposite to the punctured aperture (26), in such a way that their points are pressed against the panel over a substantial portion of their length.
