Display having a device for driving it

In known displays, which operate using lamps or fluorescent lamps, only a predetermined display is possible, accompanied by a high outlay on construction. The novel display is to be enlarged by comparison with the known devices with regard to its screen content and the configuration thereof. The display having an electronic circuit comprises light-emitting components which are driven by the electric circuit and are connected optically via optical fibres to indicator panels on the display. The display is not subject to any limits to the possibility of configuring the screen content. It is possible to undertake a change of colour in the indicator panels, and even to realise moving images and lettering.
