Zusammenfassung:A storage and retrieval device (2) having a collecting container (2a) can be moved in the aisles in between the rows (1) of racks. A main conveyor (3), parallel to which there is arranged a first storage section (6a) before the rows (1) of racks in the conveying direction, is arranged in front of the rows (1) of racks. A further storage section (6b) is located in the region of the rows (1) of racks, on the opposite side. When required, the transport containers (4) arriving on the main conveyor (3) can be led onto the storage sections (6a and 6b), as is indicated by the arrows.
