Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a wear-resistant lining for containers, in particular drum mills. Such mills are used for grinding ceramic masses, paints and the like. The aim of the invention is to provide a highly wear-resistant lining whose production is to be relatively simple, and the mounting and replacing of the lining is to be possible with a relatively low manual labour requirement. For this purpose, there are provided, in the cylindrical section of the mill container, wear webs of polyurethane pourable elastomer, which are initially straight but adapt to the inner wall of the mill container and are of a variable length which can be adapted to the inner circumference of the casing. At the edges, the wear webs have overlapping seams, the seam of the respectively outer wear web extending into a radial recess in the coating of the side walls. The width of the wear webs also permits them to be mounted through the manhole of the mill container. The field of application of the invention is the ceramic or chemical industry. |
