Zusammenfassung:	In the filter (10) of the filter construction, the filter insert (19) is built up without adhesive from annular filter paper discs (22) and a stack of outer and inner spacer rings (23, 24) to give a dimensionally stable pack (21) of filter discs between rigid end plates (25, 26). The outer and inner spacer rings (23, 24) have smooth contact surfaces (27, 28) which are continuous without interruption on both sides and against which the filter paper discs (22) bear tightly and firmly with their edges pressed on, and between which hole-type passages (29) allow the liquid to flow on the outside into the cells (33) on the dirt side and out of the cells (34) on the clean side into the outlet channel (35). The construction without adhesive avoids leakages caused by sources of adhesive and deformations, and allows non-polluting manufacturing processes.
