Heating and ventilating device for the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle

In the case of a heating and ventilating device (1) for the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle there is provided downstream of the fan (2) a pivotable distributor flap (9) for distributing the air stream (D) delivered by the fan between a warm-air duct (3) with a heat exchanger (5) and a cold-air duct (4), directed past the heat exchanger (5). The distributor flap (9) comprises a fine-regulating device (11), in order to provide a fine regulation of the cold-air stream together with uniform mixing with the heat-exchanger air, so that an exactly desired temperature gradient is ensured in the outflow vents (fresh-air vents in relation to the other outflow vents such as in the foot space and defroster nozzles) (Fig. 2).
