| Zusammenfassung: | Diethylaminoethyl p-nitrobenzoate is prepared by reaction of p-nitrobenzoic acid with 2-diethylaminoethanol in the presence of an acid as catalyst in inert solvents with distillative removal of the water of reaction. p-Nitrobenzoic acid is separated from the cooled reaction mixture as a solid and added again to following esterifications. Further nitrobenzoic acid can be extracted from the filtrate of the resulting solution of diethylaminoethyl p-nitrobenzoate using water or basic aqueous solution. |
