Novel active substance combinations of a) 1-(4-chlorophenyl)-5-fluoro-4,4-dimethyl-3-hydroxy-2-(1,2,4-triazol-1- yl)-pent-1-ene, of the formula and b) 2-chloroethyltrimethylammonium chloride, of the formula are highly suitable for inhibiting the longitudinal growth in cereals.
