Process for producing granulated propellant charges with crystalline explosives

The present invention deals with a process for producing propellant charge powders from crystalline explosives. According to the claimed process, these explosives are enveloped in a fluidised bed with thermosetting resins. The granules obtained according to the process are safe to handle and have good mechanical properties, so that they can be pressed to give granulated products of defined geometry. These granulated products burn off with reproducible uniformity. The explosives preferably used are nitramines, such as hexogen, and the preferably used resin is an acrylic resin.
