Zusammenfassung:The aim is to design a timepiece (1) having an electric energy store (16) and a time-displaying device (4) to be more flexible in use with regard to freedom of installation subject to the conditions of time display, in particular with regard to operating the timepiece (1) by means of solar energy. For this purpose, the timepiece (1) is functionally subdivided into a supply unit (2) having the transducers (11) and, as the case may be, an electric energy store (16), on the one hand, and on the other hand at least one time-displaying device (4) which can be connected thereto and is equipped with its own operating store (17), which can be recharged from the supply unit (2), and a time-keeping circuit (14), if it is to be capable of use without a permanent signal connection to the supply unit (2). In addition, the supply unit (2) is preferably equipped with a radio clock receiver (21) by means of which the instantaneous display of the time-displaying device (4) is controlled and, if necessary, corrected when the time-displaying device (4) is coupled to the supply unit (2) for the purpose of recharging its operating store (17).
