Device consisting of a parallel-shank holder and a parallel-shank chisel

The invention relates to a holding device (1) for a parallel-shank chisel (2), having a conical bearing collar (4) which faces the chisel head (3), having a cylindrical bearing collar (5) which faces away from it and a shank (6) which is situated inbetween and is embraced by a slotted spring clamping sleeve (7) with radial play (8), of which the front end (9) facing away from the chisel head (3) retains a front end (10) of the cylindrical bearing collar (5). The object of the invention is to provide a holding device of the generic type mentioned at the beginning, the life of which is increased by as minor modifications to the parallel-shank chisel as possible, while as far as possible keeping the parallel-shank holder and the production thereof the same. The object is achieved according to the invention in that the cylindrical bearing collar (5) bears, by its rear end face (29) on a supporting face (30) engaging behind it and has a cylindrical lengthening stub (16).
