Zusammenfassung: | Appliance-controlled valves mounted in addition to valves internal to the appliance on the hose end located on the inflow side do not afford sufficient additional safety against water damage as a result of a hose break, because a mistakenly open valve cannot be recognised. The hose is then nevertheless under the mains water pressure. This is remedied by a test programme with steps in which the inlet valve is alternately actuated or non-actuated and the appliance valve or appliance valves are non-actuated in both steps. A preferred sector of use is washing machines or dishwashers. |
