Device for influencing position of a boat in the water

The device serves influence the position in the water of a boat with trim flaps arranged at the stern on both sides of the central longitudinal axis of the boat. The trim flap angle can be adjusted in each case by a remote-controlled low-voltage geared engine which is arranged in a watertight fashion in a pivoting encapsulation housing attached to the outside of the body of the boat, and is drive-connected to a longitudinally displaceably mounted adjustment rod which is guided outward in a watertight fashion and engages on the trim flap. In order to simplify the design of the device, a drive wheel of the geared motor is in direct drive engagement with the adjustment rod whose longitudinally adjustable bearing is effected with the geared motor.
