Zusammenfassung:	There is described a composition for transdermal therapeutic systems which contain, as active substance, furosemid, piretanid or lemidosul or a physiologically acceptable salt of these loop diuretics in a base consisting of a fatty acid alkanolamide or a mixture of fatty acid alkanolamides having 8-18 carbon atoms in the fatty acid moiety and 2 to 6 carbon atoms and 1 to 3 hydroxyl groups in the alkanolamide moiety and, if appropriate, a carboxylic ester or a mixture of carboxylic esters having in each case 1-22 carbon atoms in the carboxylic acid moiety and 1-22 carbon atoms in the alcohol moiety.
