Zusammenfassung: | A sealing arrangement for a displacement machine for compressible media is described, which has at least one displacement chamber (12), which is arranged in a fixed housing (2b) and is designed, in the manner of a helically running slot, with lateral edge webs (26), and in each case, assigned to each displacement chamber and engaging therein, a strip-like displacement body (8) which is likewise of helical design and is held on a disc-shaped rotor (3) which can be driven eccentrically in relation to the housing. The sealing arrangement has helical sealing strips (22, 24) provided for sealing the axial gaps which remain between the fixed housing (2b) and the rotating rotor, which strips are in each case held displaceably in grooves on the end sides of the edge webs (26) or of the displacement body (8) and are pressed against a sealing surface (19, 21) arranged on the end side of the respectively other component by resiliently elastic means (23, 25) arranged in the bottom of the grooves. In order to guarantee perfect sealing of the axial gaps with simultaneous safe compensation of any manufacturing tolerances present, the resiliently elastic means (23, 25) are to be made relatively rigid on one, preferably the rotating, component and relatively soft on the other, preferably fixed, component. |
