Zusammenfassung:	In the case of a magnetic head having a core support of a first soft-magnetic material, with a second soft-magnetic material sputtered or vapour-deposited onto the first soft-magnetic material, the saturation induction of the second material being greater than that of the first and the magnetostriction of the second material being less than that of the first soft-magnetic material, and having a front gap, it is proposed to roughen the surface of the first soft-magnetic material before sputtering or vapour-depositing the second material onto the first. This avoids secondary splitting effects.
