Varnishing apparatus on offset printing machines

The invention relates to a varnishing apparatus on offset printing machines. The aim of this invention is to design the varnishing apparatus for motif-related varnishing in such a way that the setting-up time is shortened and the work is made easier. The object of the invention is to eliminate the repeated shifting of the rubber blanket or the printing plate of the varnishing cylinder in the preparation for motif-related varnishing. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the varnishing cylinder, which is covered with a rubber blanket or a printing plate, is provided with a register adjustment device which acts both in the circumferential and in the lateral direction.
