Device for electrical connection

A device is proposed for the electrical connection of the inner conductor (30) and outer conductor (28) of a coaxial socket (27), which is mounted in a housing wall (10), to conductor tracks (12) or conductor surfaces (13) of a printed circuit board (11). The connecting device is also intended to have good electrical properties at very high transmission frequencies (above 800 MHz) and to be suitable for automatic fitting and soldering. For this purpose, at least the outer conductor (28) of the coaxial socket (27) is connected in a sprung manner to an outer conductor contact (15) which is mounted on the printed circuit board (11). The outer conductor contact (15) is preferably a sheet-metal part (14) which is of U-shaped cross-section and is mounted standing vertically on the printed circuit board (11). The limbs (18) of the sheet-metal part engage around the outer conductor (28) of the coaxial socket (27) in a sprung manner.
