The invention relates to a spatial furniture element, in particular for/as block-shaped seating furniture or furniture on which things are put down, platform(s), room dividers and the like, in particular for landscaped interiors, display furniture, etc., the outer sides of the furniture element each being defined by interconnected profiled bars which form a frame and are each provided, at their side extending at right angles to their outer side in question, with a guide extending in their longitudinal direction and intended for guiding and holding an interchangeable decorative plate, the space existing between the inner sides of the decorative plate being filled by a lightweight filling material forming a core (Fig. 3).
