The water jump way comprises a jump track (8), a boat (20) and a water basin. The boat (20) has front and rear wheels (21, 22) with a different track width. In the jump-off region (28) of the track (8), the running surface (25) for the rear wheels (22) is curved upwards to a lesser extent than the running surface (24) for the front wheels (21). It is thus achieved that, after the front wheels (21) have been lifted off from the end (27) of the track, the twist of the boat (20) is only slightly reduced despite the long wheel base and different loading of the boat (20) and consequently the landing angle of the boat (20) in the basin can be kept in a favourable range. This allows a circulation of the boats and a crew of more than one person.
