Zusammenfassung:	The oven (10) for heating a bundle of thermoplastic ribbons (8), which run freely through said oven in a plane parallel to one another and are to be stretched, consists of a box-shaped housing. Said housing is provided on opposite sides with aligned slots for the inlet and outlet of the ribbon bundle and with a heating device for heating its interior. In order to displace the stretching points of the ribbons in the oven to a predetermined point or into a predetermined region, the housing is provided in the region of the stretching zone of the ribbons (8) with at least one window (14, 15) which is closed by transparent plate-shaped material.
