Zusammenfassung:	The fastening of highly wear-resistant plates to the helix of a screw conveyor is relatively difficult and is associated with a large outlay in terms of labour and time and high costs. According to the invention, however, a very simple and economical fastening of highly wear-resistant plates to the helix of a screw conveyor is achieved in that mountings (11) which are of an angular design in cross-section are fastened to the screw helix (10) and form, together with the wall of screw helix (10), a U-shaped pocket (12) into which the highly wear-resistant plates (13) are inserted from above and clamped securely with the screw helix (10) with the aid of a screw (14) arranged in the mounting (11).
