Zusammenfassung:In order to increase the efficiency of fossil-fuelled combined heat and power stations with the guarantee that the metallic materials are substantially protected from corrosion, a process is proposed in which, in a first stage, the gases are (partially) burnt to give CO- and H2-rich reducing gases and immediately after this, without intermediate cooling, are freed from the gas constituents and dusts at temperatures of 700 DEG C to 1000 DEG C with conversion of the heat removed for temperature control into steam and the purified gases are burnt in the gas turbine. For this, it is advisable to use an apparatus having, successively downstream of each other, a coal gasifier (3), reactor and gas-solids separation device (5) and further purification circuit (8), composed of filter bags, having an after burning circuit (11). Coal gasifier (3), separation device (5) and after burning circuit (11) are connected by shared heating surfaces (15) which serve for the evaporation of liquids which can be fed to a steam turbine unit (18).
