Zusammenfassung: | In the process for centrifual grinding, an abrasive medium of high kinetic energy is volumetrically compressed by two mutually perpendicular centrifugal forces. The workpieces on which grinding is performed are immersed in the abrasive medium by one of the centrifugal forces and, partially hindered by the friction with the said medium, are turned. The apparatus comprises a base plate (1), on which there is fitted a bearing housing (2), in which there is mounted a spindle with a belt pulley (3), which is driven by a driving belt pulley which is seated on an electric motor (29) fastened on the base plate (1). The workpieces (21) are fitted on arbors (20), which are mounted in bushings (19), which are fastened on a disc (18). The entire construction is surrounded by an outer housing (23). Seated on the spindle with the belt pulley (3) is a column (4), on which there are fastened horizontal columns (9), at each of the ends of which there is arranged an immovable rotor (11), which is surrounded by a stator (12) mounted on the horizontal column (9). Attached on this stator (12) is a working drum (13), fed with an abrasive mixture (15). The disc (18), which bears the workpieces (21), is attached in an axially movable manner on the horizontal column (9), on which there acts a spring (17), which bears with its other end on a bowl (16) rigidly fastened on the horizontal column (9). |
