Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a fuel injection device for a self-ignition internal combustion engine with a timing device piston (16) arranged in a cylinder (15), which piston can be acted upon by a speed-dependent pressure against the force of a compression spring (19) and acts by way of a lever (17) on an actuating mechanism so that the start of injection of an injection pump (14) is shifted as a function of the position of the timing device piston (16). A cold start accelerator, which produces a displacement of the timing device piston (16) independently of the speed is also provided on the fuel injection device. The cold start accelerator, which can be switched off as a function of two operating parameters characterising the operating state of the self-ignition internal combustion engine, comprises a controllable solenoid valve (26), which is arranged in a pressure line (25'), which connects the high pressure side of the injection pump (14) to the cylinder (15), so that the timing device piston (16) can be acted upon by fuel at injection pressure. A closing flow passes through the solenoid valve (26) in order to shut off the cold start accelerator as soon as one of the two relevant operating parameters exhibits one of the predetermined values. |
