Zusammenfassung:A method and a device are disclosed for monitoring the function of an adjusting element which is subjected to an air flow and regulates the latter. The monitoring comprises recording whether the adjusting element leaves its closed position during operation and also does not become jammed in its variable opening position, i.e. carries out operation-related oscillating movements in the opening position.
