The mini-database for a multifunctional telecommunication apparatus for subscriber dialling of telephone numbers, videotex pages, customer numbers, passwords and other destination numbers is connected to one or more lines. It consists of a compact terminal with a video telephone, a videotex terminal, which can be connected to vtx centres, with dialogue and storage functions, a keyboard, a data memory and an abbreviated-dialling facility with memory content which can be shown on a screen, in which all major groups have separate microprocessors which are connected to one another via serial or parallel bus couplings. By actuating one or more keys of the keyboard (36), a selection of the destination numbers stored in the data memory (40) and of other associated data is shown on the screen (66), preceded in each case by menu numbers. By keying in one of these menu numbers, the destination number addressable under this number is transferred in coded form on an associated line (1,2,85,86,87,88).
