A solution is intended to be devised in this context to improve the speech quality of the transmitted speech signals. For this purpose, the invention provides that, in each case, a pre-emphasiser (2, 10) is connected upstream and a de-emphasiser (4, 12) is connected downstream of the device for signal encryption (scrambler) (3) at the transmitting end and of the device for signal decryption (descrambler) (11) at the receiving end. |
