Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a torch suspension with a height slide (14) which is adjustable in the vertical direction and is guided between rolling elements (26, 30) and to which a drive is allocated. In order to create a simple and inexpensive as well as lightweight guide for a height slide of a torch suspension, with which the torch can be moved vertically in a smooth-running manner and virtually free of play, the height slide (14) has a square section (21) which is prismatically guided between rolling elements (26, 30) (Fig. 2).
