Apparatus for the simultaneous polishing and removal of burrs on voluminous rotational workpieces with concealed surfaces

The invention relates to a machine for the simultaneous polishing and removal of burrs on voluminous rotational workpieces with concealed surfaces of the actuating cam type. The invention is employed in axial, hydraulic piston pumps, inter alia, which have places of difficult access for polishing and removing burrs. The apparatus according to the invention consists of a rotating separating table (1) with central hydraulic distributor (2), on which four identical work positions (3) are mounted. A feeding robot (4), two identical work positions (5) and a demagnetising washing device (6) are mounted opposite the work positions (3). Each work position (3) consists of a housing (8) in which two identical hollow shafts (9) are mounted by means of radial-axial bearings (10). The advantages of the apparatus according to the invention consists in that it allows simultaneous polishing and removal of burrs on voluminous rotational workpieces with concealed surfaces, and it does so with fully automatic operation. In addition, the truncated edges have a flowing roundness and an exact profile, thereby increasing the commercial value of the worked workpieces.
