Zusammenfassung:	A process for the dyeing of hydrophobic fibre material with reduction-sensitive disperse dyestuffs is described, which is characterised in that it is carried out in the presence of a copper salt. By the addition of copper salt, in particular monoazo dyestuffs which have a cyano, nitro and/or methylsulphonyl radical in the o-position relative to the azo bridge are protected from reductive degradation.
