Zusammenfassung:Charge material for packing contains 5 to 13 parts by mass of a carbon-containing filler, 3 to 6 parts by mass of bituminous coal tar pitch, 1 to 6 parts by mass of a mixture of titanium hydride and titanium and 1.8 to 5.0 parts by mass of a 4-5 % aqueous solution of a glue-like substance. … The process for producing the charge material for the packing provides for mixing the starting components, drying and granulating the charge material produced with mixing and heating of the latter to a temperature which is 20 to 30 DEG C below the softening point of the pitch.
