Zusammenfassung:	In a furnace installation for the combustion of solid, liquid or gaseous materials, the combustion takes place in two stages, namely the first stage in a pyrolysis chamber or carbonisation chamber (21) and the second stage in an afterburning chamber (22). The afterburning chamber (22) is designed according to the type of a cyclone which has tangentially arranged air feed lines (26) for blowing-in of the air required for the afterburning, and a dip pipe (27) which is taken through the ceiling (28) of the afterburning chamber (22).
