Zusammenfassung: | To prepare fatty alcohol ether sulphates in dehydrated, 1,4-dioxane-free solid form, the aqueous, 1,4-dioxane-containing fatty alcohol ether sulphate pastes originating from the sulphation of ethoxylated fatty alcohols are admixed with non-esterified and/or esterified polyglycols having molecular weights of from 6000 to 50000 in an amount of from 6 to 13% by weight, based on the fatty alcohol ether sulphate content, these pastes are admixed with isopropanol in an amount of from 5 to 25% by weight, based on the fatty alcohol ether sulphate content, and optionally with water in an amount of from 5 to 20% by weight, based on the fatty alcohol ether sulphate content, the mixtures thus obtained are subjected to an azeotropic distillation at from 80 to 120 DEG C and under reduced pressure, and the product composition thus produced is granulated in a manner known per se. |
