Mouth douche

A mouth douche (1) has two separate pumps (7, 8) for generation of a spray jet of a liquid-air mixture. These pumps can be driven by separate motors (12, 13) or by a common drive motor. In connecting lines (14, 6) from the pumps (7, 8) to an ejection nozzle (4) it is possible for adjustment valves (16) to be located in one of the feed- lines, in both feed-lines and/or in the common feed-line (6) to the ejection nozzle (4). The mixing ratio of liquid and air and the delivered amount can be adjusted, singly or altogether, by these valves and/or by changing the driving power of the pumps (7, 8). According to a further embodiment, the mouth douche may have a multi-channel hose leading to the handle (5). If possible, valves for changing the flow cross-section for an air and/or water channel may be provided, if required, in the region of the handle.
