Rotating shearing machine for rolled wire

The invention relates to a rotating shearing machine for rolled wire, in which the string is supplied by a horizontally movable swing pipe from the left or from the right into the cutter region of over-mounted cutter heads with attached carrier heads with carrier grooves, like screw threads, for a carrier and is cut perpendicularly to the rod axis by the constantly rotating cutters, the carrier which is seated on a lever which is rotatably mounted on the swing tube being optionally pivotable into the upper or lower carrier head. The object is to optimise the transverse movement of the string in such a way that the momentary position of the string matches the cutting position of the cutters. This is achieved in that the carrier heads (8; 9) have adjustable cam plates (15; 17) on the end faces where the carrier grooves (10) begin and the entry point of the carrier (19) is situated, and have toothed discs on their opposite end faces, which toothed discs are constantly engaged with tapered sleeves (12) which are toothed on the end faces and are attached in the cutter heads (4; 5) and the cutter head shafts (2; 3) in a rotationally rigid manner.
