The helical-duct induction pump according to the invention, having a helical conveying duct (3) and having externally located coils (7) and magnetic plates (6) is distinguished by the fact that the helical conveying duct (3) is continued at least on one side as a duct (2) which is in the form of an annular gap and has no intermediate webs (12), and the inlet (1) opens from the outside into the duct (2) which is in the form of an annular gap. In consequence, the magnetic return core (8) can be withdrawn with its supporting structure (9, 10, 11). The helical conveying duct (3) can also be dismantled by releasing the mountings (16) and withdrawing the inner part (12, 13), as a result of which good maintainability and economy are achieved.
