Plate cam for a gas-discharge display

A plate cam for a gas-discharge display device consisting of sheet metal (1) which, after the application of an insulation layer (2), is provided with conductor structures (3, 4) on both sides, and the through-holes (5) are etched into the sheet metal after previous structuring of the insulation layer. According to a development of the invention, it is possible to arrive at a compact construction when the said insulation layer is used. In this case, the two plate cams, separated from one another, in one cell, which are used at the moment, are replaced by one. After applying the first conductor-track plane onto the carrier, which in this case can consist of both glass and of sheet metal, an insulation layer is once again applied and the further conductor-track plane is constructed thereabove.
