Zusammenfassung:Ring antenna using printed-circuit technology. The antenna ring, which consists of four stripline quadrants (2-5) which are insulated from one another and are in the form of circular arcs is constructed, using printed-circuit technology, on a dielectric carrier panel (1) in the form of a circular disc, in such a manner that two diametrically opposite quadrants (2, 3) are located on the one surface side and the other two, likewise diametrically opposite, quadrants (4, 5) are located on the other surface side of the carrier panel, the four ring quadrants running with an angle opening (8, 9) (which is directed outwards in the form of a wedge) of approximately 120 DEG with respect to one another at their four separating points (A, B, C, D), of which two (A, B) which are diametrically and symmetrically opposite are in each case used as two-pole supply points (6, 7) for anti-phase supply. In the case of a coaxial line supply (10) in the centre of the carrier panel (1), a special matching network is advantageously provided which consists of two stripline sections (11, 12 and 13, 14 respectively) for each ring supply point (6, 7). The ring antenna according to the invention is particularly suitable for use as a line-supplied single emitter in a three-dimensional antenna array having electronically controlled beam pivoting for radar technology.
