Zusammenfassung:In television sets in which the extra high tension is generated in the horizontal deflection stage, reactions of the beam current on the horizontal deflection, which become noticeable as phase errors by displaying a distorted image, occur particularly with a high beam current and low picture tube capacitance. To reduce the phase error, it is known to supply a phase comparison circuit with a reference pulse from the deflection transformer in order to generate a control voltage counteracting the phase error. However, a residual error still remains. This residual error is eliminated by the invention in that a beam-current-dependent correction voltage is superimposed on the control voltage, which can be picked up either at the bottom end of the extra high tension source or across the bias resistor of the operating voltage source for the horizontal deflection stage.
